Jan Norton is an accomplished actor and stand-up comedian. As an actor, the Dallas native has worked on numerous stage, television, commercial and film projects.

As a stand-up comedian, she has performed professionally at theaters, comedy clubs and colleges throughout the country. Whether it is in the clubs or for corporate events, her friendly style and unique brand of humor has made her a crowd favorite everywhere.

Most recently, she had a supporting role in the independent film, “Gravestoned, “ directed by Michael McWillie. She was also featured in the film “Losing Faith,” starring Terry Eisner and Mike Norris. Her other work includes a principal role in the nationally syndicated television series “Guilty or Innocent.” Jan also worked on the made-for-TV movie, “Skyward,” directed by Ron Howard. In addition, she had a major role in the theatrically released horror film, “Screams of a Winter Night, “ where she proudly admits she lived in the end. She has acted in productions at the Pocket Sandwich Theatre and has been a regular performer with the Murder Mystery Players for the past 15 years.

Her corporate clients include Home Depot, Country Wide Mortgage, Lone Star Business Women’s Association and the Richardson Chamber of Commerce. Locally, she has performed comedy at the Addison Improv, Hyenas and is a regular at Backdoor Comedy club, where she is also a co-founder.
